Raymond Kesavan Yoo Weng had an outstanding schooling career in Beatty Secondary School. He played field hockey not only for the school but he also represented Singapore. In 1967 the Singapore youth team emerged Champions when they played in Malaysia. He also played cricket, table tennis and chess for the school.
Awarded the Colombo Plan Scholarship to study Mechanical Engineering in the University of Adelaide, Raymond obtained the Hons Degree. He went on to do his Master’s in Business Admin which was offered by the University of Dubuque, IOWA, USA. He then lectured part-time at the Informatics.
